Every time I watch the movie, I get the desire to try them. Living in the Northeast, they’re not something I’ve ever seen on a menu, no one I know has ever said they’ve made them; and I've never remembered to look for them on menus when traveling. There are recipes on the internet, but I’d love to have a delicious, tried-and-true recipe from someone who really knows her fried green tomatoes. They can’t be that difficult, right? All I need are some green tomatoes and ………...........? (Please tell me there isn't a lot of fat involved.) Anyone? TIA
