I woke up to high winds and no electricity. Husband works from home so he had to use the power station he purchased. We got it back about an hour ago.

Hopefully nothing else.

It's so crazy windy today! I was watching a poor hawk trying to gain control as the wind blew it all over the sky. I feed the birds & squirrels every morning. They wouldn't come out to eat their seeds & peanuts. I guess they didn't want to blow away.

I would like to think that I am not superstitious yet I do not schedule doctor or dental appointments on the 13th regardless what day it falls on.

I never missed work or going grocery shopping but I won't have someone's mitts in my mouth, etc. etc.

Friday the 13th is the Sacred Day of the Goddess, a day to honor devine women. It's not a bad luck day.

Friday, the 13th: the day after Thursday, the 12th. The day before Saturday, the 14th.

We lost 2 smaller trees this morning due to high winds. They just snapped off towards the bottom of the trunks. Husband cut them up for fireplace kindling.
