@shoekitty even though we live out in the boonies, it is a lake area and semi-populated.  There is no hunting here.  So we see them year-round.

@MamaWick  It is 5 o'clock somewhere!  I love to watch them eat and swish that flag tail, they are amusing to watch, just like Wild Kingdom.
