I find the sheets to be convenient as well, @faeriemoon .  I have been buying these from Amazon for a couple of years.

I do not use a metal knife/utensil on lettuce.  I hand tear it apart.  If I don't & leave it as a whole head, it'll get those brown streaks/spots.
