French Lick Hotel holiday decor

[ Edited ]

Got a much needed break from being inside yesterday and went with my best friend to West Baden, Indiana, to look at the holiday decor at the French Lick Resort.  We had a wonderful lunch at the hotel and went in all of the little shops inside the hotel.  Sat and talked, had hot peppermint cocoa after lunch and just relaxed.  The decorations were just beautiful - many many trees and decor throughout the hotel.  The tree decorations were huge - 1-2 feet tall.  Inside the lobby:

I have been there a few times, when visiting my mom, it is so pretty that hotel, would love to stay there, but what i don't understand is why in the world the town does not bring in business ,shops to draw more people to the town.

@goldensrbest - I agree, there really isn't much else in town.

And maybe it's because the name of the town doesn't sound very inviting. LOL

That isn't it.
