I am signed up at Sears/Kmart to earn points when I shop there.  I don’t shop there often so I never really paid attention to their point system.

It seems I get a lot of e-mail from them and I just delete it without reading it.  Well, last Saturday, I read an e-mail that said for for two days, they were giving me $26 to spend on my points accumulation.  So, I checked it out and sure enough, it was true.

So, I went to their site and purchased 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths for free and still had points left over.  Two days later, they gave me $15 more dollars to spend.  So, I ordered 2 hand towels and a bathroom rug for no cost to me.

Today, they send me another e-mail for $12 for tools.  I ordered a 100 piece craftsman drill bit set and becauseof  the fact that I used all of my points, I had to pay .95.

I live a few miles from a Sears store, so I chose the pick up option so I don’t Have to pay for delivery.

Wow, this must be what extreme couponing  feels like.  Dis anyone else receive these e-mails?

Sounds like a good deal to me, glad you took advantage of it.

No wonder Sears is going broke; they're giving the store away.

Re: Free stuff from Sears

@Kachina624   That was my thoughts, exactly.  I suppose it’s to lure you into their store so you’ll spend money on something else you’ll see while there.

i use their  in store pick up kiosk, that is located in the lobby with a separate entrance, so, I never even an tempted to buy anything else.  I just wonder how long this free money is going to last.

I do get the texts and emails but I find better pricing elsewhere so normally, it's not worth buying their products imo.

I gave up on Sears years ago.  And, can't tell you the last time I was in a Kmart....maybe over 20 years....  The locations closest to our home closed years ago.

I did get some unexpected "cash" from Smashbox cosmetics, because they are changing their rewards system.  I got a gift card worth $10 and over $53 in spendable money in my account.  I bought some goodies from them today!

My husband used to get them all the time, hasn't in a long while.

He's really good though, he can go into the store - find something for free and walk out with just that.  He has the will power not to spend anymore!

Yes!! I just used mine too. Another is, if you browse their site, they will put coupons in the "deals and coupons" page (that can either be printed or loaded to your card) for what you previously looked at

Sears used to be wonderful. When my kids wee small I would buy them Winnie the Pooh brand clothing and it was so well made

My daughter had to wear dresses to school ,and they had the  cutest pinafore  style dresses. Just as cute as Polly Flinders, which she also wore

If you got Sears best , you got a top quality item. I am so sorry what has happened to them, and it looks like Penneys is going down the same path
