Gmail is excellent. Reliable, easy to see your mail with an app or in the gmail site. Easy to open an account and establish an address@gmail.com.

actually i have several REAL accounts with them and several junk accounts.

rarely have any issues. have been using aol since 1999 (when i actually had to pay for it.....)

Microsoft Outlook has free email.  I use a couple for junk and one for family/friends.

I now have 4 with GMail for different purposes.
