I've had enough winter. Can we return it?

Winter is my favorite season. I'm not a fan of doing yard workWoman Tongue. I'd rather shovel snow than cut the grass any day. Woman Happy

I never dreaded winter until we moved to the D-FW area of Tx.

Holding our breath that the electric grid does not fail agin.

The only place I have ever lived that you were advised to drip indoor faucets that were on outside wall to prevent freezing.

Drivers do not have basic ice/snow driving skills.

Could you use a 'working vacation' in Wisconsin?  You can take a break from shoveling when "The Bold and the Beautiful" comes on.

We are in S. WI & my dh was  busy using the snowblower on Tuesday and today.  The snow is done, but now we are getting  high winds & it's going to be bitterly cold starting on Sunday and all next week.  Still better than a hot summer IMHO.

Re: Free Sample of Winter

[ Edited ]

@On It We are awaiting our second storm this week.  High winds, snow, freezing rain and rain.  The high winds in Cape Breton (Nova Scotia, Canada) are called Les Suetes.

This is the definition...

les suĂŞtes, are strong south-east foehn winds on the west coast of Cape Breton Island. The term "suĂŞte" originates from the Acadian French.

When Les Suetes are forecast, we are in for a doozy.  The last storm, Les Suetes reached 178 km/hour (in excess of 100 mph) in Grand Etang, Cape Breton.  Grand Etang is located in the highlands of Cape Breton.

I'm with @SilleeMee , I'll keep my subscription please. Winter and Fall are my favorite seasons and the mere thought of Summer has me sad! Spring's ok but not summer.
