I don't consider investing in education to be a waste of money.
We NEED an educated populace to remain competitive with the world.

They're planting a forest of money trees. It's called the middle class forest.

Tossing about all the money from the money forest!!Yep...from the money trees.
Well I would rather my money go to schooling than go to a war invasion of another country under false pretenses. I seem to remember my tax money going to that without my consent.

Supposedly this plan would help the middle class the most.
Rich can afford college - the poor get all kinds of scholarships and grants based on need.
This plan to provide free community college education most helps the middle class parents who make too much for poverty programs and too little to pay for college outright.

Once again...sounds like a ploy to get the younger vote which is now beginning to turn against those in office right now.

Merit scholarships are available regardless of income.
What do these kids do after they no longer attend community college? Do they have a degree in anything?

where do people get the idea anything in life is free? Someone always has to pay so that someone else can get something "free". sounds like a good idea on paper, but in my mind just another way to eliminate the middle class, who, by the way, pay for almost everything. Not rich enough to have tax loopholes and and not poor enough to benefit from anything for free. If people want to go to CC, get a part-time job and work your way through it, like I did, my children did and so forth. Builds character.
