Re: Franken Food, Brilliant or a Little of Both?

I think that the article embedded somewhere in the comments, from the guardian, about the dietary science and the rise and fall of the low fat diet vs the sugar devil, is amazing. Thanks for the post @Marp

Hi Marp, Yes, thanks, I understand what is meant by hich-tech approach. I meant that hypothetically; as in "what the ...??"

I don't like the idea of manufactured food...we have enough unhealthy choices already.People will eat it and feel full but how will their bodies react to it...more health problems?

ITA.

Yes, it's a manufactured food.  Not good in the long run.

Can't find nutritional breakdown but I saw coconut was in the mix.

I suspect it will be extremely high in fat.

Guaranteed scenario:

People will be eating this high fat, expensive item

on a regular basis, gaining weight & then

blame the sugar in the bun & condiments.

They'll see regular hamburger on sale & figure

'this experiment w/ plants caused me to gain weight' and

revert back to animal products.

This scenario has happened over & over & over again.

New product; same outcome.
