Found this irritating

We are on vaca for 4 months in pa - went today to the YMCA to join as silver sneakers members - it was after lunch about 1:30 - the young lady (20s) behind the desk says - you can only sign up for silver sneakers membership between 10 & 1 with an attitude that conveyed we were dumber than dirt. My Dh said can't we fill out the paperwork and you could put it in tomorrow at 10 AM - nope - you should know that SS is only between 10 & 1 - SO I am asking seriously - did you know that you can only sign up for SS between 10 & 1 Mon - Thurs ? Did DH & i both miss something in school or were others born with this knowledge and we weren't ?


It just makes me crazy when some little snot tries to belittle others for not knowing something when there is no possible way they could know it just walking in the door for the first time. My DH is pretty POed and may just not go back - our med ins will pay them $600/month for each of our memberships - I would think for that much money they could be a little bit civil. DH said "i hope they give us a survey to see if we are satisfied with the service."
