I was cleaning out some random stuff this weekend and came upon

an old bank envelope that was filled with several quarters. The

closer I started looking at them I discovered one was this one

of the Queen. I looked online and it is not very valuable but it

is cool to have. Anyone else have one or other money with the

Queen on it?

@threecees

It could be worth a good amount right now, to coin collectors here or the UK.

Or a cool coin for you to keep!

Yep my sister went to London a few times and brought back coins. Got QE II coins in a box.

Yes, I have a bit of everything. I even have $20 Canadian dollars with the Queen's picture on it.

My Aunt and Uncle lived in London for 5 years. So after visiting them, I came back with assorted coins and pounds. And  when I went back I had no idea what I did with the previous trips money. So I came back a second time with assorted coins and pounds.

Wonder if King Charles will have his picture put on the currency.

I have a $20 Canadian paper bill with the queen on it, leftover from a trip to Quebec City.  I know I have several Canadian coins in piggy bank, too.

@drizzellla I read somewhere this morning that they will phase the Queen out and put his picture on the money.

I have a Canadian coin with her image on it.  I had it put in a pendant (that could be easily removed) years ago.  I'll have to remember to look up its value soon.

I wear it a lot.

Yes, I have several coins from Canada and from the Cook Islands that have  the Queen on the reverse side of the coin. My favorite is a platinum Canadian Maple Leaf coin with her likeness on the back of the coin.

Do stores in the United States accept Canadian currency as payment?
