Foster Child Left Alone

My friend attended her ten year old granddaughter's graduation ceremony. She noticed a little girl sitting alone holding her diploma and crying her eyes out. She decided to find a teacher who went over to the little girl. Later my friend saw the little girl with the teacher smiling and laughing. Seems the girl is a foster child. So sad.

Why the depressing children threads lately?

I thought the forums was supposed to be a 'fun eperience'......guess not lately.

Yesterday a thread about a child dying when her Mom left her alone, while Mom went on a vacation, now this.

Oh well, I can always read elsewhere.

If the forums are meant to be only about a "fun experience" there goes most of Wellness as well as much of Among Friends and Mom to Mom.

I missed where it says the forums are limited solely and exclusively to "fun" topics, however that is defined.

This is so sad! Her foster family didn’t even attend her graduation! If there is no VERY good reason for NO ONE attending, then she needs to with a family who cares about her. Not everyone fosters out of love and compassion.

There are terrible things that children have happen to them because some adults do not care,a fact. How sad.

@Biftu It seems like our society has gotten so cold and selfish lately. I pray daily for children and animals that they are spared from neglect and abuse.
