Re: Forum Improvements Survey---on community page

In the comments section, I gave my $0.02 worth, on issuing a "warning" to someone that they are in danger of being banned, and once they are, make sure that they can't come back under a new/different nic.

I know that they won't listen to my suggestions, but I do wonder if they will implement any changes resulting from this little survey.

Was Yuban, then changed to Plaid Pants due to forum upgrade, and apparently, I'm back to being Yuban.

I did the same.

Thanks for posting this, I would have never found it otherwise sunshine. I think it is commendable that they are willing to listen and revisit changes with these survey's.

I don't want to get into a situation of over-moderation.

It would be nice if they had a way to deal with the people who sign up every day with a new nic and the obvious trolls that seem to bump up hundreds of threads every so often.

Re: Forum Improvements Survey---on community page

you are welcome everyone!

i know that not everyone even goes to the community page so i am sure a lot of people would miss this opportunity to give some feedback.

What I was thinking was, say someone is abusing the "Report Inappropriate" button. The webbie could send them an e-mail, warning them that they are in violation of the Standards, and if it continues, they can be banned.

It's kinda surprising when you try to log on one day, and can't because you have been banned, and you don't know why, or what offense you did to warrant the banning.

It would be nice to be giving a chance to amend your behavior before being exiled to outer Claxon-5.

Thanks for posting this sunshine45.

I wouldn't have seen it.

Until they address being able to create multiple accounts little will probably change in here.

I appreciate that they are trying to listen to us though.

Re: Forum Improvements Survey---on community page

"engagement from QVC employees and vendors" seems to be a QVC issue, something they're bothered about; the actual customers have no particular interest in. I don't think it's one of the top five things people said needed to be reconsidered.

I think they want more sales driven from this forum. I don't think its one of the top five things either unless it is one of the top five things qvc thinks needs to be reconsidered.
