The point of coolsculpting was that it was noninvasive. Liposuction will leave a scar and pretty sure someone who shows their body because their profession is modeling would not want that. As someone who was mostly a desk jockey I certainly never wanted a hose stuck into my belly and lay there as fat globules got sucked into the hose connected to a jar.
eta: I just read more info from an interview she had with People. Evangelista, 56 detailed each spot on her body from coolsculpting her abdomen, flanks, back and bra area, inner thighs and chin. After a few months she developed hard bulging painful masses under her skin. She had full body liposuction as a remedy that was painful and did not work. She developed agoraphobia.

As I noted in my post, she is currently 56. Also stated, the photo of her on the right was taken when she was 51.
She's much heavier, now, at 56, than she was at 51.
My previous comments:
"Here she is at 56 y/o, now."
"Linda during her modeling days on the left and at age 51." "and at age 51" referring to the photo on the right.
Hope that clears that up.

Pretty hard to sue Krispy Kreme or the Cheesecake Factory.....so ya gotta blame somebody. She didn't gain that weight overnight.

You're correct, @Foxxee. She's definitely heavier and she now has a "carb face".

Quite a huge oversight made by her doctor if true. Plastic surgeons always give patients something to sign for permission to perform the procedure and that something like this would carry risks even if they were rare.
While what you say wasn't mentioned in the OP's post, it's difficult to believe she didn't sign something, but it's not out of the question it was missed.
Time will tell.

She's not taking into account what can happen to the body during menopause. I've seen women who were slim their entire lives literally blow up when going through menopause. Your body can change drastically. I'm certain that the sculpting procedure didn't help, but maybe a diet and fitness regimen would work rather than yet another plastic surgery procedure.

I don't know that being informed of this would have changed her mind, but they should have gone through the risks even the less common ones.
From what I read, only in the area the procedure was done.

Oh, boo hoo. She's no longer model gorgeous but looks like an everyday mature woman. She's put on significant weight like a lot of older women. She actually still looks good made up.
Hey I no longer look like I did thirty years ago either. It's life and she should have known about risks one takes when it comes to any procedure.

The cool sculpting is a popular procedure. Many celebreties do it. When we see a celeb who may not be at their perfect weight but the neck is chilsed and well defined, it's from cool sculpting...

@haddon9 I saw a Dr. on tv explain what went wrong. CS is supposed to reduce fat cells, hers did the opposite which Dr. said can happen. That's why she is heavy now. CS backfired.
