Former President Carter

Such sad news of his declining health. My prayers are with the Carter family today. Thank you sir for your service and kindness.

He should be most remembered for his role in Habitat for Humanity  in building homes for the needy . It would be wonfderful   the other former  men who held the same office as he to put the same effort and backing into Habitat for Humanity instead of continuing to make millions on book and touring deals. Putting money into  building decent housing for those less fortunate  is much needed

He's led an exemplary life with thinking of others, being charitable and most of all a highly religious man.

I saw an interview with him a few years ago.  He was asked what he thought most defined his life.  He said that he had made many friends.  That stuck with me.
