This service has just come to Florida. Has anyone out there used it and if so, how do you like it??? Publix used to deliver and we loved, loved, loved, it. The guy came in and put those paper shoes on over his shoes and put everything away. It was great, but didn't last long. They just couldn't get enough customers..... AND, they charged $8 delivery too......

Would not be interested. I want to pick out my own produce and I want to put my own groceries away.

At first, we didn't order produce or any meat because I too, like to pick my own. But, after a friend of mine said her steaks were "top of the line", I took a chance. Everything was perfect. In fact, the produce looked like it had never been touched by anyone but the shopper It was "perfect"......
I liked the idea when we had it but we still went shopping in between. As soon as I am low on something, it goes on the list, even though we just got back from the store, so there is always something to "get"..... I won't use this service because I really like to get out and go shopping.
But, it sure stops the "impuse" shopping that I am so guilty of....

Hmmmm, I don't need that service right now but I can see how it can be beneficial to other people.

Safeway delivers here. I have used them when my arthritis makes it impossible for me to shop. They do not put things away and their delivery is free if order is $150. otherwise it is $10. I think. Have not been happy with their produce selections.

A couple of years ago, I couldn't get to King Soopers (Krogers) because my car was out of service. I ordered online & they delivered for $11, plus I always gave the delivery person a tip. Most of the time it was OK, but I also like to select my own produce though they did a pretty good job of it. It did also help prevent those "end of the aisle" & impulse purchases. Couldn't view package labels, either, when trying something new. All in all, it's good to know I can have groceries delivered if I can't get out, but I wouldn't make a habit of it because the delivery fee & tip add to the cost. Plus, I have a sibling who works at the store I use, so she can always pick things up for me if necessary.
