For those who DO get flu shots

When do you get yours? I usually always get mine in October. I've been seeing signs in front of several pharmacies in our area over the last week that says things like "flu shots here now". These are new signs. This seems awfully early to me.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
