Thanks! BTDT to no avail. I also registered with Washoe County and they say they will contact you if/when they have available appointments.

At that locator site I tried with several locations. I will have to just keep trying.

@Linmo You got LEFT OVER shots and you didn't lie. You have every right to share. My sister did the same thing. She went to a school in her area of the UWS and they gave her a shot right then and there as some people never showed for their appts. SHARE... you have nothing to be ashamed about.

I'm 66 and have not been vaccinated. I don't really like sharing that fact since everyone I know has gotten their shots and thinks it's the best!...how could I not be excited about it?! Personally I'm on the fence and prefer to wait a bit.

Not everyone wants it. If you want it, and you were able to receive it, then good for you. Most of my friends have declined the shot. None of us feel we want to take the risk of the potential, down the road side effects. So don't worry, you can share your news, or not.

I am in Washington State. I had no trouble scheduling an appt once they got everything set up. I did have my appt postponed a couple of times because of no available vaccine. Our local comparies (Starbucks, Microsoft and Amazon) have worked together to make it easier. I have heard them announce on the local news that some hospital has leftover vaccines available.

I'm guilty. I have asked medical people if they got it and which one only because I wanted to hear about side effects. I heard the Moderna had horrible side effects so curious to see if it was a couple of them or most. These were not random people, but my docs, my testing people, my lab people, that kind of thing. As far as people in general, I agree very personal and you have to do what you are comfortable with and not be guilted into getting one.
