Re: For those of you that shop Costco.

Like a previous poster stated, what have I not purchased from Costco. I am also only one person. I stop weekly for gas, the prices cannot be beat. I hate lines for gas, so I always go in the morning, before I have to be at work.

They have plenty of casual clothes at great prices. Pro tip. If you see an item that you like purchase immediately. You can literally return a few days later and the clothing item can be completely sold out.

I purchase plenty of items that do not expire, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Laundry detergent, Dryer Sheets, Scent beads, Water, Gingerale. The list goes on.

The largest item that I ever purchased was a TV, this was almost 6 years ago, and it's still going strong. Excellent warranty, plus I purchased a reasonably price extended warranty.

OTC meds with the Kirkland Brand are ridiculously priced. Meaning extremely reasonable.

Since I am one person, I do not normally purchase food items unless I am going to an event, and need to bring something. For example, I will be at one of my good GF's home this Thanksgiving, so I purchased Cheesecake.

I like to say that Costco is like Disneyland for adults. I also go into the store normally on Saturday's which is the worse day to go, but I am there at 10:00 when the doors open, and it's not as painful( meaning the crowds) that early in the morning.

As stated earlier, too many things to list, and I have been a member since 2001. I have the $60.00 membership, and I definitely get that back in the gas savings throughout the year.

Re: For those of you that shop Costco.

I live alone and shop for the month. Sometimes every other month.

Salmon, steak,  most meats, popcorn, bone broth, chicken thighs(huge), cottage chese, yogurt. Good prices for a big tub.  Butter, my dogs prescriptions, bakery goods.  The one thing I don't buy is their fresh veggies, not so fresh,  The bananas almost never ripe and when they do, turn brown right away.

Love Costco.  Gas prices best in our area.  KIrkland brands are actually made by national brands.  Prices obviously are better for the same product only with the Costco label.  Cashiers are super super super fast. Lines really don't last long at checkout.  Wonderful staff always willing to help and even walk you to the product you are looking for (Frederick, MD) Love love Costco. Also one more thing.  They are well stocked with lots of choices in every category.

@Love4cats  We are BIG Costco shoppers, even though it's just DH and I at home now.  We have an executive membership and carry the Costco branded Visa credit card.  That membership and the credit card give us some pretty nice rebates each year. The Costco rebate is always enough to pay the membership renewal, plus a little extra, and using the Costco Visa for every possible purchase during the year gives us a sizable check to spend as we please.  The key, though, is to pay the monthly statement in full so as to not incur interest charges. Besides food items, we have purchased numerous non food items as well.
