Re: For those of you that shop Costco.

@Love4cats The rotisserie chickens are the best value for $5.00.  I should also include anything and everything else  Costco sells.  I love the place.  No purchase has ever disappointed me.  Have fun shopping.

Re: For those of you that shop Costco.

I always scope out the snack aisles.  We get Brazil Nuts and mixed nuts.  Love the toffee cashews too.  Then, there's all kinds of chocolate items, although the dark chocolate truffles I had just discovered were not there this time.  Hopefully they will return.  The peanut butter/oatmeal/chocolate chip Protein balls which were also new disappeared or a few weeks, but they were back today.  Serving size is 2 balls, but I only ever eat one.

We get bulk paper items, Free & Clear laundry pods, and dishwasher tabs. Also, in the freezer section are fully cooked burgers that you heat up in the microwave.  Also supplements.  I get Biotin and D3, DH gets Tumeric.  Can't get the Sensodyne toothpaste because my Dentist says no whitening formulas.

Don't forget the clothing items, but you can't try on in-store.  However, Costco takes returns no questions asked.

Re: For those of you that shop Costco.

I just read on Costco's website that they only take VISA credit cards.  Since I don't have one, I guess I won't be rushing to shop there.

It did say you could use Mastercard online, but what's the point of that, if you can't use it in-store as well?

Seems a very odd restriction.  I'll stick with Sam's Club.

@Love4cats Costco is a fun place to shop - enjoy yourself!  Also check out Costco.com.

The food court items in the warehouse are yummy and reasonably priced.

I am pretty sure you can use your ATM.  I have the costco credit card which is nice because it gives you extra years of the warranty on electronics and 5% cash back in addition to the cash back from your membership.

@Love4cats , I would suggest you look at the Reddit Costco thread to get ideas, very interesting read. I don't know if links are allowed but if you google Reddit Costco the link will come up.

Btw Kirkland paper towel rolls are no longer individually wrapped so I've switched to Sam's Club Member Marks ones. Other than that Costco rocks!

Any time you have a choice between name brand item and Kirkland, chose Kirkland! Costco has high standards and since Kirkland is their brand, everything is always very good!!

@Venezia, I'm pretty certain that besides Visa credit card Costco in the store will accept any debit card using a PIN, Apple Pay, Google Pay, checks and cash.

Re: For those of you that shop Costco.

Several years ago we moved and left all of our Costco stores. Luckily they decided to open one near us but, round trip, its a two hour drive. But we still are happy to drive it. Costco has wonderful fresh meats. Love their rotisserie chicken, we just went the other day and walked out spending $400. And that was a scant of what we usually spend! We use to have a Sam's Club and Costco membership. Dumped Sam's. Costco is far superior!
