One of my best friends from HS is down from Ontario checking on her parents. We ventured out for dinner (pizza). We both had to get out anyway....I had choir practice and she was running some errands for her parents.

We had a chicken pie that had veggies in it and chicken of course. Also made buttered noodles. Not only is it freezing here now I am sick too (coughing terribly, sore throat) so I could barely taste it but my husband loved it. (he just got over being sick). Have I said it already? I hate Winter.

Home made chicken enchiladas here. And yes, it is cold even in Hawaii and has been for the past week. No really, I'm not kidding!

Made white chicken chili soup and homemade bread last night. Tonight it's either shepherds pie or meatball sub casserole. So cold, we need stick to your ribs food to survive ,lol.

soup and sandwiches.......i made lentil soup and chicken noodle soup. didnt feel like cookin too much today. i started putting my holiday decorations away and did some organizing.

tomorrow......gooooooooooooooooooooooooo RAVENS and it will be a crock pot chili day when i FINISH putting decorations away.

it is also end of the year and end of the quarter paperwork time.....so i try to find easier meals to prepare.

I had a rib roast in the freezer so made it with roasted red potatoes and green beans. We ate mid-afternoon. I seldom cook on Saturday but had nothing else to do today. This is my husband's favorite non-Italian meal.

It was delicious.

I love rib roast. I always make it for holidays and whenever it's on sale. Tomorrow making chili, as they are predicting a real mess here Sunday into Monday.
