Re: For those interested in honouring the fallen Cdn soldier

May he rest in peace. My heart goes out to him and his family.

I will proudly wear red for this proud young man tomorrow. In honor of him, his family and Canadians everywhere!

Oh, this is just so sad. So very very sad. What a terrible thing.

I don't do Facebook but will wear red tomorrow and tell everybody I know about it.

I already know exactly which red top I'll be wearing tomorrow.

I saw posts about him this morning. I'm such a boo-baby, I cried. He had so much to live for and this is tragic and senseless.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all of our neighbors to the North.

Last night the Pens played the Fliers, but they sang the Canadian National Anthem before the game. The even posted the words on the huge screen so the crowd could join in, which they did. It was very moving.

Appropriate, since so many players on every team are Canadian. That's why the only sport I can tolerate is ice hockey. It may be a rough and tumble game, but there's "heart" there.

I wish I could have seen that.

Ford1224, if you do a search you will be able to bring up a video of the hockey game last night. It was an amazing act of kindness extended to the hurting Cdn people. So much so that PM Harper mentioned it in his speech this morning.

That was lovely, thank you so much reese2. So very thoughtful of you to post that for me. I'm sure others will appreciate it too.
