@@MyShadowLove  I didn't abandon anyone...just that I drew the short straw in a long distance relationship and one of us has to move...LOL...I'm in NE now.

No regrets...happily married nearly 16 yrs. It's just been a bundle of trade offs...

Seafood to beef and corn, hurricanes to tornados, living 1 mile from LI Sound to being landlocked, trees to sky and stars...it's all good.

I never stopped cheering for the NE Pats or UCONN Huskies Smiley Very Happy

Yes, remember Hilton well...also channel 8 WTNH news/weather too!

@Susan Louise...Oh my goodness, that is quite a drastic change!...It must have been quite an adjustment for you...I'm happy that it worked out so well for you...Actually, I have a nephew who moved to Kansas about three years ago and he is enjoying it so far...His wife has relatives there, so she wanted to move closer to them and give it a try...I would find it extremely difficult to move from the East Coast to the Midwest, so my husband and I would have to have a long-distance marriage which I really wouldn't mind trying out for a while...LOL

Do you ever get back to the Northeast at all?
