Planning to go to a West Coast beach this year?

I can't vouch for its accuracy since it sent me to Kauai (obviously in Hawaii) and I answered one question as saying I'd only be willing to travel by car (since I'm already in California). But, hey, quizzes are fun.

If you don't live in the west, Sunset is a magazine that covers gardening, travel, food, home - for states from California to Washington and Arizona to Colorado. It's just a bit like Southern Living. Sunset publishes a Western Garden Book (updated periodically) that I find invaluable.

I live in a small SoCal beach town. I tried to answer the quiz so that I might end up with a staycation (obviously saying that I would be driving), but insteaI ended up with the same result as you did.

I took it twice with slightly different responses but got the same result. I think maybe their site is overloaded or something and it's not giving the right outcomes. I might try tomorrow. I really wanted to know!! :-)
