My heart goes out to you, and anyone else in this horrible economy that is losing their job.

I was in your shoes while in Florida, and yes, employers won't admit that despite years of experience and knowledge, they get a financial break by hiring younger employees.

Please market yourselves to your local hospitals and physician offices; explain you can learn a software program, but you can't be taught customer service skills, compassion, and reliability.....you already have these skills and can prove them.
