Today on TCM an old movie called The Picture Of Dorian Gray is on at 3:00PM( in So Cal) It is a very dramatic picture and I have seen it several times and the ending is like OMG so if any are interested I would highly recommend it.

I have seen this movie quite a few times and we always talk about it when we are talking about evil people and what their "portrait in the attic" must look like. It's an unforgettable movie, to be sure. I believe the evil individual was played by Hurd Hatfield, and a very, very young Angela Lansbury was his victim. I don't remember him in many movies, he was a very handsome actor. I sure do remember this one though. I would love to see it again and will look for this on On Demand, since my daughter and I are going house hunting today.

Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the information. I've set my DVR to record the movie, and I just ordered a copy of the book.

It's a good movie. The novel by Oscar Wilde is even better.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.
