I just can't imagine Lisa "ending up" with a personal trainer. She seems to be totally into money, impressions, her looks, Madison Avenue, et cetera., -- and VERY high maintenance. Just doesn't seem like they would be a good match to me for the long haul. JMO, of course.

Goes to show no one really knows the hosts. I always thought Lisa would end up with a high society older man. Not sure if this is her boyfriend but whatever makes her happy. When Lisa left I thought she was heading in another direction. With QVC not having the Red Carpet in LA and not a presence in NY for Fashion Week I now think she didn't want to continue with the new direction. It seems QVC is heading in another direction away from the glitz and glamour. So between the programming and the terrible selection of products I think Lisa just left. She knew she'd have many opportunities and I believe she is indeed sifting through for what is the best fit. And if this is her boyfriend she may want a lower key career. I still think she is going to do some sort of blog. She has a lot of followers already.

Sometimes life just throws us a curve ball....so if Eric is her significant other (I chose to believe he is) I wish them happiness.

You can't always choose the person you fall in love with.

And maybe he's a very successful PT and they won't end up living in a room off the gym!

That's just it...to you she 'seems to be'. No one here knows her at all, she revealed what she wanted to reveal. She's a sales person, or she was. A sales person's job is to sell, much like an actor sells a character to us.

I'm sure she's kept the best part of herself and her life for herself and those she loves. I'm happy for her.

To be fair he isn't only a personal trainer. He is the co-owner of a business.

Great comments Reese2!

I remember how every once in a while she would say something like "Outback is my favorite restaurant."

That seemed to be "out of character" with her QVC persona - but I think that basically she was playing a character on TV - in an effort to sell a little bit of the "luxe life" to her viewers.

Exactly. That whole 'Madison Avenue' schtick probably wasn't her at all. It was her sales persona. She does love to go shopping in NY, but I don't picture her as a real hoity toity type in real life. She seems very down to earth like someone you would be friends with.

Good personal trainers are not easy to come by.

The good ones can make a great living!

That's true...plus the ones who work with high end clients in their homes work in pretty posh surroundings too!

My trainer is getting a doctorate in physical therapy...he'll be off doing a residency in 2 years. He said he was torn between getting his doctorate or going ""high end"" - but decided he wants to concentrate on working with seniors and people with MS (his mom has the disease).

He has a few clients he meets at their men's club - he said it's pretty spectacular.
