Thanks for the replies. You ALL have great taste in music videos. I agree with a lot of your choices. Purple Bunny I love that story and now I might dig out my old VHS tapes to find that video, because I used to sit and record videos (without commercials.lol). And Dmod I KNOW we agree on Jon and the gang! :-)

How about ""All My Rowdy Friends Are Comin' Over Tonight""
ETA: forgot to say by Hank Williams Jr.
I also like Whiskey for My Friends and Beer for My Horses by Toby Keith
and That Ain't your mama's broken heart by Miranda Lambert

Janet Jackson's, "Love Will Never Do". It was a new image for her...and the black/white images were stunning.
Red Hot Chili Peppers "Give It Away" is another b/w weird video.
Madonna...any video...beautiful images.
Missy Elliott "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)"...weird & conceptual...really anything Hype Williams produced is amazing.
And...the one from NIN...that's all I'm gonna say about that. Eerie, weird, conceptually beyond edgy & a mind-bender.
I love all your choices.
You too Chessylady!
I always think I'm on an island my myself with my choices! Thanks for "getting" me!!
No you are not. You chose really good videos that in someway were some of the most innovative. A lot of my favorite videos don't happen to be for songs that I like, but just for their video value. Like Thriller and Sledgehammer, not my favorite songs but definitely were groundbreaking. As it happens your list also contains some songs I happen to love.

Some people consider "A Hard Day's Night" to have been one great big ol' music video. If that's not a stretch, then it gets my vote.

The best ever would have to be Thriller - the choreography, make-up, story line - just excellent
Innovative and excellent would have to be Bob Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues" where he just held up one sign after another - music videos were in their infancy.
And I so agree with boby - Yeah - "A Hard Day's Night" FAB!!! & GEAR!!!!
