@ciao_bella   My Dad would always tell me, "You know that dollar is best spent in your pocket"  Makes me smile because he knew if I had a nickel I would be buying something !!!

My father would say "that quarter is burning a hole in your pocket."

My sister and I would get a quarter for each window we washed or fence rail we painted. And then as soon as we got to Wildwood Boardwalk I would spend most of my quarters on trying to win a stuffed animal at the wheel.!

My favorite one was a big stuffed snake that I draped over a big piece of driftwood in my room
