We try to spend the same amount for our nieces and nephews. Our kids make a list of what they would like and we purchase items from that. Again keeping the same amount of money used for the gifts just more than the nieces and nephews. We also purchase gift baskets for the staff of the front desk and valets at our favorite hotel we go to multiple times every year, especially during the holidays.

No----I spend what I plan on----I only  give gifts to my 2 adult kids and that is $100 each for Xmas -----and I tuck that away a few months before----my DD daughters b-day is the 23rd of this month and I give her the same amount as well.
