Ditto Ditto. Saw them (w/best friend,,,still BFFs today) at Boston Garden in 1963(?). Will never forget. After the concert, I took one of the signs that were hanging on the railings...said: "I Love you John"..Months later went looking for it in my closet. My mother was: oh that thing. I threw it out!!!!! I can laugh about it now. Memories......

I was nine the first time I saw them on tv...fell in love with George.I hid in the bathroom and put on my moms bra that I stuffed with socks and wondered if I looked old enough to marry him.

I wasn't at the show, but it brings back SO many memories!
I was a very young child. We were in my Uncle's car and stuck in standstill traffic on the Grand Central Parkway for over an hour. People had abandoned their cars on the exits and on the side of the road. My Aunt and I had to pee, we finally made it to a gas station and waited in line again to use the rest room. I never saw so many girls in my life. When we finally got inside, girls were jostling to the mirror fixing their beehives and other hair styles of the times, and putting on the white and light pink lipstick.
I cried because The Beatles were right near and I couldn't get in to see them.

@jannabelle1 Maybe because on 45s there was only one song on the front and one on the back. Are you looking for that, or a 33 album?

I do remember my mom dancing around the house to their music on the transistor radio she kept on the kitchen counter! 📻 After that, I was hooked. I remember getting their Rubber Soul album for Christmas one year and I still have it to this day. There isn’t a song I don’t love! Saw Paul twice in concert few years back...it was Amazing.
Maybe she was amazed..... Oh sorry, that's Wings.

I was 8 or 9 when they appeared on ed Sullivan. I was instantly in love.
I got Rubber Soul for xmas one year too. I still have it. I have also seen Paul twice. We must be sisters from another mother!
I doubt it.

In 1964 The Beatles came to Denver to perform at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. They stayed at the only hotel (for them) in Denver, The Brown Palace Hotel. The hotel has since commemorated their visit by naming the suite they stayed in, The Beatles Suite. Oh and the concert tickets sold for $6 and it did not sell out.

I remember it clearly. I fell in love with Paul. I remember my sister and I taking $5 from my dad's wallet to buy the "A Hard Day's Night" album in mono. Going to see a beach party movie and having a Beatles cover band - dressed in suits with the moptop wigs - on top of the concession stand building. The Beatles Channel on Sirius is the best thing to happen to radio in a long time IMO. I get in the car and play the music I grew up with. A+++++++
