Re: Foods that you miss that are no longer being made

One of my brothers played in the school band, and the big fundraiser every year was selling candy bars.   Chuckwagon and NuttyBuddy’s were my favorite, but there was a third caramel one I never remember the name of because I didn’t like it enough to buy it.

Mom hated this fundraiser because my brother always came up short money wise because of the candy bars we ate!

I have no idea what company made this candy, which was apparently just made for fundraisers.

You can buy Mars bars again!

Walmart sells them.

The wal mart in my town does not and has not for several years. Are you sure? I was told they were discontinued. hmph. Probably just discontinued in this backward state.

Either way, I am going to wal mart.com right now. God Bless you! Hopefully I can order some. Those were my all time favorite.

I think the candy factory went out of business many years ago. Nothing like them.

Parley's, not Parlays?

They're on L.I.  Carle Place.

Sounds good. Unfortunately I live in Southern California :-(

Hmm, I wonder what air fare costs :-)

Have you tried them?

Most of this stuff I have never heard of.  Maybe we did not have it on the West Coast.

Reeds Winto-green candies!

There is no fun in doing nothing when you have nothing to do.

There used to be a candy bar that I just loved.

It was called a Choco Lite Bar.  Made by Nestle.  SOOOOOOO good.
