Hello fellow dog-lovers--I have a few questions. I have a 4 year old rescue Doberman, who has been with me now for just over a year. I have another Dobie here too--another rescue. I've been feeding both of them Nature's Recipe Lamb and Rice dry dog food with no issue, until recently. Paige, the newest Dobie, has been having chronic diarrhea, and all her stool samples have been clean for parasites. We've treated her for giardia, just in case it wasn't seen on the test, as it is hard to detect sometimes. She's been on several rounds of Flagyl for the inflammation, and recently, I started her on some probiotics, and those seem to help. As soon as I took her off of those, her soft stools returned. She has no other symptoms of allergies--no real itching, excess licking,hair loss, etc. Could this be a delayed reaction so something in her food? She's been on this food since I brought her home over a year ago. My other Dobie, (Greta), is fine. No bowel issues at all. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
