FYI.....................In the world of nutritional supplements, protein powder is near the top as some of the most expensive given how many servings you get. Sure, you can find cheap protein powder. But when you buy bargain-brand supplements, you often get what you pay for.

Rose429, Google and learn about protein powders.

Yes, I know that. But I don't eat much meat at all, chicken and fish and that's all. So I really don't have much choice when it comes to getting 'complete' protein. Supplementation is it.

Shoekitty said, yes...so true. As more people cut back on meat, protien supplements have hit roof.  We buy ORGAIN at Costco. Befor. Covid it was 28.00 for the chocolate vegan one. Now it is sometimes 46.00!,,  unbelievable.

Oh yes I am a BIG Justin fan.  He has been my most favorite singer/songwriter for over 50 years now!❤️.

We go to his solo shows too when he comes close to us.  Last saw him in St Louis.  With Mike Dawes.  I hope he gets our way again on his next tour.  I am glad you got to see him, and you are right his voice still sounds amazing!

I was so impressed. Years ago I saw the entire Moody Blues perform. It was in a smaller venue. What a way to see them

But really liked the last concert I saw. Had great seats because again it was a smaller venue. The opening act was warming up the audience and casually walking onto the stage was Justin Hayward singing "Tuesday Afternoon". The crowd went wild.

Christopher Cross was also on the bill.

I also look forward to seeing him again.

I'm finding Instagram to be the new Julia Child.  I have SO many recipes saved.  Cottage cheese seems to be having a moment right now.  That's a good source of protein.  It's amazing what you can do with cottage cheese.  Avocados too.  Chicken is also a big ingredient in a lot of the Instagram recipes.  Google "girl food" or "girl dinner".

@shoekitty  Gas locally ( SE PA) has been under $3.00 a gallon for a long time now.

It's $2.74 here in Northeast Texas at Walmart.  California always has the highest gas prices.

@Rose429 One thing that really helps is using everything you buy.  A big help is having a freezer bag that you put everything leftover in it for soup.  A few peas, green beans, corn left over?  In the bag!  Some pieces of chicken or other meat?  In the bag!  And make soup.

Canned tomatoes on sale are a wonderful soup addition, Better than Bouillion is cheaper than buying stock.  Make your own broth out of any leftover bones.  Things like that go a long way!
