@Kachina624

LOLOL!

I have a friend in CT who tried to use a (Garmin maybe?) and it took her to a place that looked exactly like that (according her).  I'm thinking it was user error.

@Franklinbell

What is trip tix?  I know, I could Google it but I'll do it the old fashioned way since we're talking about old fashion technology (g)

@monicakm   It was a custom designed map for your travels. You would give the triple a person your starting point and destination and the would assemble a map for you. They would highlight it and put notes for your travels. It was one of my favorite parts of vacation when we traveled by car! Also my mom packed the best lunches!

You can have it added and probably should if people need to find your house.

A young person today would probably think a folded map was wrapping paper.

Sounds like fun. What are some of the things your mom packed for lunches on the road?

@monicakm @She baked the best pound cake! Homemade rolls and fried chicken....my mouth is watering now. My moms cakes were amazing. I ran into a lady that knew my mom the other day and she asked me if I could bake like her! We had a hearty laugh!😆

I'm in my 70's and never mastered the art of map folding.

For a bicentennial project, we ordered a paper map from every state.  We had them until about 2010 and out they went.

We had lots of fun exploring them as they came in!
