What an interesting story. This is my first post. I come and check what has been posted and occasionally come across something as interesting as this. Now I have to google her name and listen to her music. Happy that this music is living on. I wonder if the Library of Congress has her music because they are on the mission to record all types of music out there. Found this out when my father and I were on Youtube and found a French-Canadian fiddle group from Massachusetts I think. This is my heritage but am fascinated by all sorts of matter.

@golding76  Such a nice, interesting post... The thing I enjoy about posts like this is not only what is to be gleaned from the post itself but that it has me seeking and looking up information about things mentioned in the post that I know little about and about which I'd like to learn more...
