These people are not going to self quarantine.  Did he explain how it will be enforced?  I know he wants a $500 fine or 60 day jail term.

oh sure! they want new yorkers that drive or fly there to self isolate, but it was okay for thousands of 20 something's to be outside on the beach or wherever for a week.

 

does florida have the money to check every flight for new yorkers and to stop everyone driving and flying in.?

 

dare i say that many new yorkers have a home or condo there?

 

is he one of those 'very smart' geniuses that i have heard about on the news?

 

sounds more like he trying to stay relevant, so when he needs federal assistance, people in dc will know who is he and hopefully take his call. as some would say, 'he needs to have several seats'.

He really doesn’t want a single person to doubt his inability does he? Who cares about a fine of short jail term? How are either of those little pats on the wrist going to keep the virus from spreading?
