Florida Ladies: Have You Ever Had A Problem with Sunpass?

I have had a Sunpass transponder to use the Florida Turnpike for five years. We closed it out in April because after moving to central Florida we rarely travel the turnpike like we used to.

We have been disputing a 10.00 and change claim now since about September. They said we did not pay a fee in June going to Tampa. We never went to Tampa. After doing the research we found out the car belongs to a car rental agency. We rented that particular car for a week in 2008 to go to Orlando. We have been going back and forth between Sunpass and the rental agency. WE have since found out that many people who have the Sunpass transponders have been charged with something in error. There is no talking to these people. I was wondered if anyone else had problems.

It is not the amount of money. It is the attitude of the people at Sunpass. They also sent an email stating in legal language they have a right to suspend my license if I don't pay. The deducted the charge with a cc we had on our account.We are at there mercy. The people at the rental agency know who used the car in June. They have not resolved it either.
