Flat screen TV-- Wall mounted or on stand?

We are looking to buy a new flat screen tv for our livingroom. We can't decide whether we want it on a stand or on the wall. It would be less expensive all together if we mounted it on the wall, as the tv stand we like that is big enough to hold the tv is very pricey. If we mounted it on the wall we could get a smaller stand to put underneath it for storage.

Any thoughts? Is your tv wall mounted? If so, how do you like it? Thanks!
