I have an 11 year old kitchenaid glass cooktop electric range. I broke the top last week and to fix it would cost $300 or more.
I want to upgrade to gas someday so to buy new would cost $200 or more for a plumber (gas line) and over $1100 for a new gas slide in range.
My range has never failed me until I broke it so I know it's a good one. Even if I fix it how long will it last?
New might mean troubles if I buy the wrong brand and who knows what is good/bad out there
So do I keep my old unit or buy a new one????
Thanks for any advice.
