You've had a couple of weeks to get used to the "no white after Labor Day rule". I hope all your white accessories and clothing are done for the year

Feels like fall where I am already and has for a few weeks--and no--still will wear my whites.

I so look forward to it cooling down where I live. Then I can go out for long walks without sweating. I love that sweet little dog in the photo.

You made me LOL with this post! Would you believe I've never purchased (or worn) a pair of white shoes (other than Keds as a kid and through college)? Couldn't bear the look of white with tanned feet and legs (or hose back in the day). I've always preferred beige heels during the spring and summer months.
I'm still wearing some light weight blouses (it's still in the 90's here) in light colors since they don't absorb the heat. Summer is my favorite season, love the carefree clothing if affords - and I hold on to it as long as possible! Heavy wools and tailored winter clothing will be ready to wear soon enough (which I also adore), but winter is l-o-n-g in Nebraska and I'm not about to begin wearing anything early.
ETA: I did wear ivory heels (which matched my wedding gown) when married my husband in March, 1969. That's as close to white shoes as I ever had . . . and they were well hidden beneath the gown most of the time.

@monicakm Autumn arrives in Florida in October. It is still home but most days we don't hit 90 and that is a sure sign! Lol
October is my favorite month!

Calendar autumn but there will still be some gorgeous warm 70ish days in October. We might even get one or two 80 degree days. I do think by the end of September it will be time to put the whites and bright summery things away. Makes me sad because the older I get, the more I hate winter.

I'd probably be able to suffer a little less thru the summer if I lived in NE. Texas is another story. Fall is my favorite season and one reason I got married in Nov. My gown was also ivory and my colors were rust, brown, burgany and light blue.

Yeah, summer shows no signs of slowing down here either. It's currently 95. Oct should start with a slight cool down. It used to be cooler in Oct than it has been the last few years. Heat is oppressive and causes brain malfunctions.
