@Maudelynn Are you laboring under the delusion that people have to buy firearms from a gun dealer, and if they don't, that's illegal in every state?

You apparently do not know the gun laws that currently exist in the USA.  Knowing what you are talking about is a good thing when you call someone out.

  Here ya go. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_the_United_States_by_state

You will soon need background checks to buy over the internet and from unlicensed dealers.  I'm under no delusions at all. Closing these loopholes will disallow any Tom or Harry from being able to legally purchase without a background check.  Better stock up now if you do, indeed, care about legal ownership.

Really? What part of 'criminals don't buy through legal methods' don't you get? This will not stop Tom or Harry from comitting the crime they are so intent on comitting. It may slow them down, cost them more, etc. but it will stop nothing.

Dream on.

Are you saying you won't follow the laws?  Scary.  And precisely why we need stricter laws.

Don't put words in my mouth - but then again, I guess that's all you can do here.......is try to accuse people of illegal activities. That's kind of odd, in and of itself - what are YOU doing that makes you so suspicious and accusatory towards others?

Who knew I was so terrifying. LOL.

I kind of knew. LOL.

I don't think some of the folks here know a lot about real life....IDK if they live in gated communities or what the deal is....I guess they think when gang members need more firearms, they parade to the nearest gun shop.
