First United Airlines, now the NYSE and WSJ

All have had computers down today.

An attack? A "dry run" for an attack?

Why no funding for cyber-security??? It has been delayed for YEARS.

Remember, there are NO COINCIDENCES. We keep some cash on hand and our autos tanked up. This could not have been just an unplugged cord if you know what I mean.

They think WSJ might be down because so many people turn to them for financial news...worldwide.

NYSE is saying it's an internal issue, not a cyber breach.

We have been at war (cyber) for many many years.  Govt. employees especially fight it all the time.  You just don't read about it.

I am not concerned about the United outage.  This is not their first nor will it probably be their last.  Their merger with Continental has caused several problems that still continue to this day.

Just want to say, the uneasiness you feel today could be helped by bringing IT back to the US.

Just sayin'.

Forget funding Homeland Security.  What's the currency for a bunch of 12 year olds these days?  I am sure they could shore up our technology systems in the cafeteria between classes on their smartphones.
