Prayers for her surgery.  Planned or other doesn't matter.  She is a woman in need.  I hope she does well.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for First Lady Melania Trump. White House confirms her

condition is benign, that the surgery was

successful, and that she will rest and remain

hospitalized through the remaining of the week.

I wish her all the best and a speedy recovery. Most of all, I hope her son has support; it's hard for a child to see their mom (or dad) in the hospital. Hugs to him too.

@Sahmlam  i thought i read that Mrs. Trump's parents lived nearby - or were in town quite often.  if this was indeed planned with good lead time and the family felt the need, perhaps they could have been called upon. especially since she'll be in all week.

this i am sure was scary for her - as for anyone.  yet she launched a major project last week.  more power to her.

get well and stay well, Mrs. Trump!

during their tenure?

@sidsmom, hahaha...we may be a relatively young country, but still. You crack me up sometimes.

Again, though, I feel so very sad for this woman.

@suzyQ3

You might need to unpack this for me.

I don’t understand your remarks.

My question was a legitimate question.

Has there ever been a First Lady who has spent time in a hospital

during her tenure?   I’m thinking Jackie Kennedy..was she pregnant

as First Lady (which would have hospital time)?
