First Experience w/a Dog Groomer - Is Tipping Customary?

I'm taking my Golden Retriever to the groomer next week. Her fee is $45 for brushing, a shampoo & blowdry, trimming hair where needed (between toes, around privates, etc), trimming nails, and he'll get a bandana. That sounded pretty good to me, but I don't really know if it is or not. The lady has many years of experience and used to compete in this area so it sounds like she knows what she's doing. Is $45 a good price for the service? What about tipping the groomer, is that customary as it is in a salon?
