In Northern Virginia, and it is hot as blazes!  I delight in warm weather, but I am now fed up with the heat that has dogged us all summer.  (We had 57 days of 90 degrees or above this summer, according to our local meteriologists.  I believe they said the average number for 90 or above is 37 days.)

We will hit the low 90s today, then there will be a slight cool-down, followed by 90s this coming Saturday and Sunday.  Unprecedented, I believe.  

I'm hoping we have a sustained cooling-off period soon.

It's about 70 degrees, and was a little overcast this morning when I was running errands;  then we got a few, sudden shots of sun breaking through the clouds.  Reminded me of when someone who looks very serious in repose, suddenly smiles, radiantly, and it's so unexpectedly attractive!  I enjoyed that.

Now it's raining!  Boy we've run the gamut.  But it's sort of a romantic, drizzly rain.  Since I have to go out again, I think I'll like the slight 'cooling off' effect it gives.

Phoenix area. Gorgeous. Dark clouds, rainy and not 100 degrees. In fact no 100’s in site.

Hot and sticky.  Cloudy and looks like rain.  The weather report called it "tropical temps."  Boo hoo.

Autumn is my favorite season!  I love everything about it and look forward to it finally getting here (if it ever does).  Here in Philly, it's currently 91 degrees.  A little humid today too which doesn't help.
