Fireworks after 1am?????

I know New Years Eve is a big celebration but do you think it should be cut off shortly after midnight? I am a nurse and work in a hospital. I usually work the 1st and need to be up at 5:30 AM. Do people not realize that many service people still have to be at work the next day?
