Not for 21.3 million people who passed away from COVID-19.... they will not be fine...life will not go on... trust you?

The face shield part is not an issue. I'd want to know why the mask wasn't pulled up over the nose.

Our safety has to rely on the common sense of other people, and my experiences, so far, have not been great.
I had to get my Real ID driver's license and went as soon as they opened, thinking that would be the safest. Nope! They promised that you would be in and out in 15 minutes, if you had an appointment. I was in there at least 45 minutes. They only had two people working. They were behind plexiglass. But the customers had to use the same surfaces, touchscreens and pens as everyone else. Nothing was being disinfected.
Last week I had a dental appointment that I had already postponed. Everything seemed good, until my hygienist left the room to get some water and forgot to put her mask and shield on when she came back in. I, of course, had no mask on. I have to go back for a crown, but I'm in no hurry.
I'm just about at the one year point with my mammogram. It's going to have to wait. The only other appointment I'm keeping is with my endocrinologist next week. I just had full blood work done in February with my PCP. My eye exam was done in November of last year. I'm comfortable with postponing everything else until next Spring.
My best experience was when I went for a haircut! They were wonderful. But I'm still postponing that for a while longer.

I have Osha in my contact list on my smartphone and when someone really angers me I pull it out and show them what I'm about to do. In my area, Osha has levied large fines on companies who are not in compliance and has put that information front and center in the newspaper and online.

My husband was eagerly awaiting an appt with a specialist when the scheduler let it be known that he has an office in TN that he has to fly back and forth to at least once a week. My husband was very upset to say the least by this news and told me to cancel his appointment and forget about ever going to him. We were asked over the phone the reason for canceling and I told her. She said the doctor doesn't like flying back and forth either and she completely understood our fears.

@Azcowgirl, I felt the exact same way when I had my mammogram in July. Holding my breath with my mask on was horrifying for some reason. I almost felt like I was having a panic attack, and it was definitely something that I hadn't experienced before.

Not sure where you get those figures: CDC update stated that globally 771,000 have passed from COVID, not 21.3 Million. Maybe you mean confirmed cases, not deaths? Not a good number by any means, but that's a big difference.

That's disappointing to hear. I was pleased with my mammogram experience in July. When entering the facility (it was a hospital), you had to give name and reason why you're there. You couldn't get in without an appointment. My temp was taken than a sticker to put on my shirt with todays date on it. I went directly to breast center and I was the only one checking in. When I was bought back to prep area to disrobe and wait, I was the only one there. When I was done and leaving, they bought back the next patient. I didn't mind goin to the hospital, the part of the hospital where this is done is far away and separate from patients. Not many people in the building at all.
