Re: Finally found my Flamingos

Good for you!!

Isn't in fun when you find something that you've been looking for and hadn't been able to find?

@qvcfreak   I love those! I have quite a few flamingos in my back yard.  We use metal & plastic spikes to keep them upright.

I have one from Hobby Lobby that is so tall, that when I brought it home the head stuck out of the window of the car.

I have some hot pink spray paint to tweak them when they've faded or have some rust spots.

@Mary Bailey my daughter is a lover of all things flamingo and I so wanted to buy her one from Hobby Lobby but it was taller than me and aside from having a little Nissan Sentra to get it home in our grandsons car seat takes up half the back the seat.

Those are gorgeous!  I have two but they aren't as pretty, the heads on yours are really nice.  The problem I have is keeping them standing up.  I may have to enlist my husband because no matter what I do they fall over.

Maybe use Gorilla Glue and glue garden stakes to the bottom of their feet so you can stick them in the ground to anchor them.🦩🦩

Speaking of Flamingo sculptures, this is 21ft.  "Phoebe" at Tampa international Airport. She is situated so that we are underwater with her in a wetland as she is searching for brine shrimp ( that is what gives flamingos their pink/coral color).
